Here’s a quick run-down of the sessions specifically on workforce analytics and planning:
Session 1 is on the necessity of workforce planning and analytics to successful execution of business strategy.

Session 2 is about using workforce analytics to raise the conversation level on people and strategy.

In this session, hear how HR better supports the business by using SuccessFactors Workforce Analytics to identify issues in real time, debunk persistent workforce myths, increase confidence in analysis, and more effectively use facts in action planning.

Session 3 is on using analytics to assess talent-review risks.

Session 4 focuses on product innovations, roadmap and vision for SuccessFactors reporting, planning, and analytics.

Session 6 will implementation lessons and example of metrics that could be considered key to leading a diverse workforce.

Session 8 is a discussion on how workforce analytics helps unlock the value of data captured from talent solutions.

In this session, The Hartford and its implementation partner, Aasonn, will discuss ways to use SuccessFactors Workforce Analytics and talent solutions to achieve integrated talent management from an implementation perspective, as well as through process alignment and change management.

Session 9 is on harnessing the power of predictive analytics in HR, using flight risk predictors as example.

Also worth highlighting is preconference training available from the SuccessAcademy on Tuesday September 9, 2014:
- Through discussion, demonstration, and hands-on computer lab work, this course on SuccessFactors Workforce Planning and Analytics uses the concepts and terminology associated with SuccessFactors Analytics admin functionality, and helps develop a working knowledge of user and role access options to best disseminate human resource centric analytical information to the business. In the course, you will gain skills in how to design security roles for different HR and business users. Workforce Analytics will be covered in the first half of the session, and customers also utilizing Workforce Planning should attend the second half of the session.
- There’s also a great workshop covering Online Report Designer (ORD), providing an overview of how to use the ORD to build queries and create pivots. This data may be used in published data reports and format list reports, pivot tables, and pivot charts. Additionally, you will be able to share reports with end users and help end users export reports, use actionable analytics, and distribute reports.
