Yesterday a colleague from Saudi Arabia reached out to me and asked if there is a document that shows all the detailed mappings of SuccessFactors fields to SAP ERP HCM Infotypes. He said that customers, particularly in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region are very keen on understanding the information that is sent to SuccessFactors from SAP ERP HCM. He said that they are also keen on understanding if and how they can control the information that is sent to SuccessFactors from SAP ERP HCM.
The Integration Add-On Admin document has information about all the detailed mappings. It also talks about the additional fields customers can add and how customers can control the information that is sent to SuccessFactors. Some foundational data will of course be require to ensure proper functioning of the SuccessFactors Talent Solutions module.
On a related note, the most number of downloads of the Add-On were from Saudi Arabia after USA and Germany. There is clearly a lot of interest to move talent management to the cloud in the MENA region. I believe this provides a good opportunity for SAP implementation consultants and partners who are able and willing to work in that region. Taking the packaged integrations and making them suit the unique needs of the customers in the MENA region might be a good business opportunity too.
